Front Page

-Price needed.
-Less space at the bottom of the page.
-Three different types of fonts (change some of them).

Feedback From Jamie
Jodee, I really love your front cover. The use of light and shade, the interplay of the image with the masthead, the coverlines, the choice of image all tell me that this is a music magazine with a distinctive style and attitude. Here are some suggestions: reduce the number of fonts that you use on the front cover (I would argue that only two or three different types of fonts are necessary); Make it clear how much your magazine costs; reduce the amount of empty space at the bottom of the page where the article about Elle Thresh is advertised; devise a strapline to your magazine which makes clear what genre you are targeting. Also, I would place the website the masthead.

This is my final draft and also the one I would use as my final piece, I have used the colours that will attract ant gender and I have also put information that anyone can read, I thought I would put some of the main festivals that they perform at which will attract anyone of any age and is also useful information for people. I used the pictures to add suspense and use it for a cover line ‘Secrets Revealed’ so it makes people want to read on. I decided to stick to basic colours so it looks modern and older generations would want to read it and also it doesn’t make it look tacky. I put white into this so the barcode looks part of the magazine too.
